The Truss Plate Institute
The Truss Plate Institute's mission is "....to maintain the truss industry on a sound engineering basis...". To accomplish its mission, TPI establishes methods of design and construction for trusses in accordance with the American National Standards Institute's accredited consensus procedures for coordination and development of American National Standards in addition to providing a Quality Assurance Inspection Program and by contributing its expertise in other technical areas. SBCA’s Cold-Formed Steel Council
(CFSC) focuses on issues that affect manufacturers of steel structural building components. The goal of CFSC (and SBCA) is to protect and educate component manufacturers through risk management and training material.
